Find out who is in the matchday squad to play at home to the Southern Knights on Saturday...
Head coach Fergus Pringle has named his starting XV and bench as the Super6 squad prepare to take on the Southern Knights at Myreside on Saturday (3pm).
Both teams are already through to the semi-final play-offs which will take place over the weekend of March 20-22 but who plays who - with Heriot’s and Ayrshire Bulls are also through - will be decided this weekend as the regular season draws to a close.
There are four changes to the starting pack that played against Heriot’s on February 14 with Sam Grahamslaw and Harry Fisher getting their first league starts. Finlay Simpson and Mesu Kunavula also come in. Brian Leitch and regular vice-captain Morgan Inness are unavailable due to injury.
In the backs there are two changes with Ruaraidh Smith and Ali Harris starting and Angus Guthrie and Murray Scott moving to the bench.
“We will need to be more composed and more clinical in our execution”
Ahead of the game, Pringle said: “We are looking forward to taking on the Southern Knights at Myreside on Saturday in the last round of the FOSROC Super6.
“The Knights have built some momentum with a run of solid performances and their pack have been in good form of late. We will need to be more composed and more clinical in our execution against the Knights as we look to improve on our last performance a couple weeks ago against Heriot’s.”
