WFC CLUB 1XV – HEAD COACH
Watsonian Football Club are looking for a new Head Coach to lead the Club 1XV in National 1 into the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of coaching Rugby at a similar level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and player development
- To plan and deliver training sessions which are held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings
- Oversee team selection of the 1XV
- Manage the match day experience, working alongside the Team Manager, support staff and medical team.
- Liaise and work closely with the coaching staff of the all the club teams.
The ideal candidate will share the clubs ambition for the 1XV and be a positive figurehead around Myreside. Strong personable and communication skills required.

WFC SUPER 6 – HEAD PHYSIO
Watsonian Football Club seek a new Head Physio for the Super 6 side. This role will include overseeing the medical staff whilst working closely with the Head Coach.
The ideal candidate will have previous pitch side experience within rugby or other sports, a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience (preferred, not compulsory) and be SCRUMCAP qualified (or equivalent).
The Head Physio will be working solely with our Super 6 squad and be required to run 2-3 clinics per week alongside training (Tuesday & Thursday nights) whilst covering the team on match days (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) and during the cross border competition (including travel to Wales).
The candidate will be required to ensure that all medical staff have the necessary training/qualifications, suitable cover for all clinics/matches, all required medical equipment and ensure player welfare at all times.
