TEAM NEWS AHEAD OF TOMORROW'S MATCH -V- CURRIE CHIEFTAINS

Head Coach Steve Lawrie announces a settled squad ahead of the 1XV trip to Malleny Park to take on Currie Chieftains in tomorrow's Tennent's Lager Premiership.

In the pack Greg Jackson and Jack Stanley continue at prop with Ross Graham moving back into his more familiar position of hooker. Captain Craig Borthwick returns after missing last weekend's win over Glasgow Hawks through injury. Gregor Nelson starts this week at 6 with Connor Boyle and Michael Fedo making up the back row.

Murray Scott starts at 9 with Nathan Fowles not having been released by Edinburgh. The backline has a familiar look with the exception of exciting prospect Rufus McLean who starts on the wing following injury in a pre-season match against Heriots.

On the bench, Finn Hobbis returns following impressive performances in the 2XV and replaces Duncan Ferguson. Fraser Renwick and James Miller drop to the bench and will be looking to make a big impact when called upon. Ewan Fox and Paul Cunningham will cover the back line.

It's a big match tomorrow and Steve Lawrie is under no illusions, "At Malleny this week we need to ensure we play for the full duration. Currie have backs that can score from anywhere and a hardworking pack that has provided them with a strong platform. Hopefully the weather doesn’t thwart the efforts of both teams who have aimed to play with tempo and expanse so far this season."

It goes without saying that the Coaching Staff and players will appreciate your support tomorrow. Kick Off at 3pm....wrap up warm!
