Steve Lawrie announces his squad to play Boroughmuir at Myreside tomorrow.

Head Coach Steve Lawrie has announced his squad who play Boroughmuir Rugby in tomorrow's Tennent's Premiership match at Myreside. The game kicks off at 3pm.

In the pack Jack Stanley and Jamie Hodgson both return and start, having been away with Edinburgh Rugby. Connor Boyle is away with the Scotland Under 19 squad and Gregor Nelson drops out through injury. There is a reshuffle in the pack which sees Fraser Renwickstart at hooker, with Ross Graham moving to the back row.

The backs are fairly settled once again with only Angus Guthrie missing out through injury. He is replaced in the starting line-up by Rory Hutton.

Hooker Cammy Fenton is released by Edinburgh Rugby and is joined on the bench by Finlay Simpson who has impressed in the 2XV following his return from injury.

Lawrie on the reflects on last week and the game tomorrow, "We were pleased with aspects of our performance last week at the Greenyards but it was ultimately a case of close but no cigar.

This week we have the massive challenge of Boroughmuir who have been improving all the time. An impressive display against Melrose in the cup was followed up with a comprehensive victory last week in which they showed their lineout strength and some nifty finishing in behind."

We have around 130 in for the former players Christmas Lunch who will be entertained (hopefully!) by Willie Hunter and Sean Lineen! The club house will be open from 12 noon so please get down and enjoy the festive atmosphere at Myreside. For those who cannot make it, the game will be streamed LIVE! on our Facebook page - tune in from 2.50pm onwards for the pre-match build up!

With the past players Christmas lunch at Myreside scheduled, it is sure to be a busy day
