WFC members urged to keep in touch during January...

You may remember that back in October, the club announced that we are now an official part of the LooseHeadz Partnership Project.

The team behind LooseHeadz are keen to start a conversation that inspires a global movement towards better mental wellbeing.

January can be a tough month for many in any year, but with another national lockdown having now begun due to Covid-19 it will be even tougher in 2021.

As a result, it is very important that we keep in touch with club mates in the coming weeks as reaching out and checking in with someone can make a big difference.

The mission of LooseHeadz is simple; they want to use their platform to find new and innovative ways to advance the dialogue around mental health. The solution, however, is much more complex.

They believe that by building a community, united around a shared mission, then we can all begin to turn the tide against poor mental health.

LooseHeadz do this by creating rugby clothing designed to get people talking.

Now, more than ever, we have to help all our club mates with their mental wellbeing and with Women’s XV player Ciara O’Halloran an ambassador for LooseHeadz and the club committee backing this link-up we at Myreside are determined to make a difference.

As part of the LooseHeadz Partnership Project, WFC club members are able to get an exclusive 15% discount on any purchases made via LooseHeadz.co.uk whilst also guaranteeing that 10% of the sale price will be paid back directly to the club at the end of the 2020/21 season - the discount code will be in the next club newsletter.
