Find out who is in the matchday squad to play away to Boroughmuir Bears on Sunday...
Head coach Fergus Pringle has made a number of changes to the starting XV as the Super6 squad get ready to play Boroughmuir Bears on Sunday at Meggetland (2pm, live on Scottish Rugby TV).
The team beat the Bears 28-10 to stay unbeaten in the FOSROC Super6 competition after four completed games last Sunday.
However, they know that Graham Shiel’s men will be tough on their own patch in the second leg of the Allan McNish Memorial Trophy.
For the game, Edinburgh Rugby’s Fijian Mesu Kunavula comes into the team at six and Michael Badenhorst moves to the bench.
In the backs, Ali Harris, Andrew Chalmers, Lewis Berg, Ruaraidh Smith and Lomond Macpherson come in.
On the bench back-row Harry Fisher and stand-off Ewan Fox come into the squad.
“It will be a tough challenge”
Pringle expects a good match in front of the TV cameras, stating: “After a hard fought game in tough conditions at Myreside, we are looking forward to the return fixture against the Bears at Meggetland.
“We know they have built a great match day atmosphere for their home games and Sunday’s game will be a tough challenge for us.
“Our squad have trained well this week, while we’ve gone about trying to improve aspects of our game that will help us put in a quality performance against the Bears.”
