Last weekend in Melrose our 7s team took part in this knock out round of the tournament.
A poignant occasion for the Club and the wider Scottish rugby community following the unexpected death of Scott Hastings earlier that week. To honour Scott the Club added the number 13 to the front of our 7s shirt recognising one of the club's most iconic players and celebrating his incredible contribution to Scottish rugby. A minutes silence for Scott was observed before our match against Kelso.
The team unfortunately lost to Kelso in Round 2 which sees us now sit in 8th position with one round remaining in Edinburgh this coming weekend.
